Students and professors from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill spent their summers conducting nutritional research in the rural region of Intibuca, Honduras. Throughout the year-long project, researchers are studying how the introduction of a peanut-based supplement could offset the effects of malnutrition in Honduran infants.
"Honduras and the Hidden Hunger" tells the story behind this study. Read in-the-field accounts from the researchers, listen to a study participant as she tells you her life story, and more in this presentation.
